FAQ

Here are a few FAQ's that will act as a guide to knowing a little bit more about the business side of Frêshare Gardening.

 

How much experience do you have in Gardening Services?

With the odd sabbatical, I have been associated with gardening for 35 years. In those years I have learned a wide variety of skills and know how on a wide range of topics involving all aspects of gardening. Professionalism, reliability & politeness being the key three.

 

Where are you based?

My business office is based in Hanham, Bristol, which is also where I live and have done for over 12 years now.

Do you provide all of your equipment?

Absolutely. All power tools are petrol driven with professional hand tools used for the smaller tasks.

What happens to all the waste that is generated?

Unless arranged prior to works being carried out, all waste products generated will be processed on site and what cannot be used as organic mulch will be bagged and removed from your property in it's entirety. 

Are you qualified to carry out the work you provide?

Although no qualifications are required by law to use tools such as strimmers, hedge cutters/trimmers or leaf blowers, I have been trained in the safe use of these items of equipment. A licence is required to use a chainsaw on properties other than your own however. No such requirement is needed for the use of a pole saw (a small chainsaw on the end of a pole). As with the list of tools that needs no licence, I have also had prior training in the use of this machine too.

I also have a pesticides spraying licence (PA1 & PA6) enabling me to legally spray a wide variety of pesticides on properties, both private & commercial as long as it is not from what is known as a "boom".

Do you charge by the hour?

No. I charge by a price agreed in advance of carrying out that specific job. I pride myself on providing extremely competitive prices which are value based & also backed up by my 100% satisfaction guaranteed pledge.

Can you be contacted out of hours?

Although my hours are 8-5 Monday - Friday & 8-12 on Saturdays, I am contactable outside of these hours, as long as it is at an unsociable time. My hours are extended in the summer so my contact hours will also be extended during these months.

Are you insured?

Definitely. Some of the equipment I use are powerful machines. Although I am fully trained in the use of such tools, if in the unlikely event of an accident occurring, & being proven, you will be covered for any damage happening to property you own.

Do you work in inclement weather?

Yes! As long as the job being carried out is safe to do so in wet, windy or icy conditions, it will be done. Jobs such as grass cutting or lawn care will only be postponed in the event of torrential rain or other previous precipitation rendering the jobs impossible to complete without ruining the site.

Do you provide invoices/receipts?

Again, absolutely. Frêshare Gardening is the business name of Frêshare Ltd so as a legally run company invoices/receipts will be issued on request.
